We welcome DURANGO BHI with the support of Industria Erronka and institutional backing in Bizkaia

We welcomed a visit from Durango BHI to the SUPER-EGO facilities as part of FVEM’s Industria Erronka initiative. The visit was attended by Elixabete Etxanobe (Deputy General of Bizkaia), Ainara Basurko (Provincial Deputy for Economic Promotion of Bizkaia), Begoña San Miguel (President of FVEM) and Adolfo Rey (Managing Director of FVEM).

Bringing industry into the classroom: Young talent

Industria Erronka aims to inspire career paths and raise awareness of the sector’s potential among students in Bizkaia (middle school, high school, and vocational training). We shared with students at Durango BHI how we work, what types of candidates we seek, and what technologies and processes bring our products to life.

Over the past year, more than 100 high school and vocational training students have visited our facilities. These events are a great opportunity to answer questions, inspire career paths, and showcase the career opportunities the industry has to offer.

Commitment to equality and diversity

We want an industry open to all talent, supporting initiatives that promote the inclusion of women in the industrial sector, highlighting professional role models, and encouraging female students’ participation in technical fields. Our goal is for more young people, especially women, to see the industry as a path to a promising future.

Institutional support

The participation of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and FVEM underscores the importance of building bridges between educational institutions and companies to ensure generational succession, boost competitiveness, and consolidate quality jobs in Bizkaia’s industry.

80 Years: Experience looking toward the future

In the year of our 80th anniversary, we reaffirm a commitment that has guided SUPER EGO for decades: combining industrial expertise with the energy of young talent to build a more innovative, sustainable, and inclusive industry.
